Meaty Meatball Spaghetti They taste good, but they don't really have a meaty texture or taste of an actual meatball. This meatball recipe uses TVP (textured vegetable protein) to give them a truly meaty texture. They hold up to baking, frying, or being cooked in a sauce and can be used on spaghetti or meatball sandwiches.

Ingredients of Meaty Meatball Spaghetti

  1. Prepare 1 1/2 lb of ground beef.
  2. You need 1 of Jimmy Dean (sage) sausage roll.
  3. You need 2 of eggs.
  4. You need 2/3 of bread crumbs (Italian).
  5. You need 1/2 of onion, chopped fine.
  6. It's 1 tbsp of olive oil.
  7. Prepare 1 dash of red pepper.
  8. It's 1 dash of salt.
  9. Prepare 1/4 tsp of ground black pepper.
  10. You need 1/2 tbsp of garlic powder.
  11. Prepare 1/4 tsp of onion powder.
  12. It's 1 of spaghetti noodles.
  13. It's 2 large of cans of Hunt 's pasta sauce. (I used meat & Italian sausage).
  14. It's 2 of conecuh.

Meaty Meatball Spaghetti instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except spaghetti noodles conecuh sausage and spaghetti sauce..
  2. Mix well. Roll into balls of desired size. ( Cuff hands while rolling ) when done place meatballs gently in pan with olive oil. Heat medium. Turn or roll meatballs over. Cook for 10mins..
  3. Once done add conecuh sausage and drain. Add pasta sauce and cook on med low for 15mins..
  4. Cook noodles per package. Once done put some noodles on plate and add meatballs and sauce top with cheese and there you have it some wonderfulness on a plate..
  5. Enjoy! !!!!.

Arrange the spaghetti on a serving plate and then top with meat sauce and cheese. Let me know what you think. I reckon most people have a pretty solid spag and meatballs recipe in their repertoire, but this one has a few tweaks to take yours up a few notches. Serve meatballs and sauce on a bed of pasta with plums on the side. Though spaghetti is typically served with Meatballs, I love this quick one-pot version better.
