It's an easy to make soup that's perfect for a Mom's soup has been on my "to do" list for a couple years already, and I am embarrassed that it has taken me this long to peg down the recipe.
Ingredients of Mom's EASY home made chicken noodle soup
- Prepare 1 of pre cooked whole chicken cut up.
- Prepare 1 cup of carrots chopped.
- You need 1 cup of celery chopped.
- You need 1 cup of chopped onion.
- It's 2 tbls of olive oil.
- It's 3 tbls of chicken broth.
- Prepare 8 cups of water.
- You need 1 tbls of parsley.
- It's to taste of Pepper.
- It's 2 cups of pasta of choice.

Mom's EASY home made chicken noodle soup step by step
- Sauté onions on med heat until soft, add carrots and celery and continue cooking for another 10 minutes on med heat..
- Add water, chicken broth and pasta and bring to a soft boil on high heat until pasta is cooked..
- While waiting for pasta to cook, remove chicken meat from bones and chop up. Be sure to double check the meat for any small bones..
- When pasta is perfect, turn off the heat and add the chicken and pepper. Adjust salt if needed....chicken broth has salt in it, you may need a tiny bit more..
- Place in bowls and sprinkle with dry or fresh parsley..
