  1. Prepare of 'Pasta'.
  2. It's 1 tbsp of olive oil / low cal spray oil.
  3. It's 320 grams (4 cups) of bean sprouts.
  4. Prepare 120 grams (2 cups) of chopped mushrooms.
  5. It's 2 clove of garlic.
  6. You need of salt & pepper.
  7. It's of Marinara Sauce.
  8. Prepare 3 tbsp of olive oil / low cal spray oil.
  9. Prepare 2 1/2 tbsp of finely chopped onion.
  10. It's 400 grams of can chopped tomatoes.
  11. Prepare 50 ml of white wine.
  12. Prepare 6 tbsp of tomato paste / puree.
  13. It's 2 tbsp of freshly chopped basil.
  14. It's 1/2 clove of garlic, finely chopped.
  15. It's 1/2 tsp of dried oregano.
  16. It's of salt & pepper.
  17. You need of sweetener / sugar.

Vickys Bean Sprout 'Pasta' and Marinara Sauce GF DF EF SF NF instructions

  1. Start by making a puree of the canned tomatoes, wine, tomato paste, garlic and oregano.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onions until softened, then add in the tomato sauce and basil and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. When the sauce is almost ready, heat the 'pasta' oil in a frying pan and add the chopped mushrooms and bean sprouts.
  4. Stir fry on a high heat for 3 minutes then add the garlic and cook a further minute.
  5. Season the marinara with salt & pepper and a little sugar if required to taste, then spoon some sauce over the top of the 'pasta' and serve with some garlic bread. Pour in marinara sauce, fill up empty sauce jar with water and add to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a strong simmer.
