Ingredients of Chicken Florentine
- Prepare 1 1/2 lb of Chicken (boneless, skinless breast).
- Prepare 1 cup of red bell pepper, chopped.
- Prepare 5 oz of baby spinach, I used Dole's brand.
- You need 2 of Philadelphia's cooking creme Savory Garlic.
- You need 1 box of Barilla's penne pasta.
- Prepare 1 dash of Pine nuts (optional).
Chicken Florentine instructions
- After you have your chicken and bell pepper chopped, cook together at medium heat...I salt and pepper my chicken and throw on some onion powder too.
- After chicken is thoroughly cooked, add spinach to your bell pepper and chicken...don't forget to boil the water for your penne...sometimes I do Haha :).
- After spinach is heated (shriveled) the recipe located on the tub of the cooking creme suggests draining all the liquid but 1 tbl. sp. (I choose not to drain it). Then you add the cooking creme and stir over the heat for another 3 minutes.
- After the cooking creme is heated, and mixed well just toss in your penne and mix together..
- Pine nuts, sprinkled over the top is optional...very yummy though..
