  7. It's 1 tsp of italian seasoning.
  8. Prepare 1 tsp of garlic powder.
  9. You need of Spinach (measurement varies by person).

Penne Pasta with Homemade Tomato Sauce and Spinach step by step

  1. Fill a saucepan halfway with water and pour in pasta. Do not boil yet.
  2. Take another saucepan and pour in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste. Mix. Slowly add in basil, italian seasoning, garlic powder, and 1 tbsp olive oil.
  3. Cook noodles on medium high heat until done.
  4. Simmer sauce on low heat until it starts to bubble.
  5. While noodles and sauce cook, get a skillet and sauté spinach using olive oil. Garlic powder optional.
  6. Plate pasta, sauce, and spinach. Enjoy!.
