Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta Bake I had this thing with Chicken Cordon Bleu when I was a little girl. It was my ultimate indulgence when we went out for meals and if a restaurant had it on its menu, I would order it without fail. Add Alfredo sauce, chicken broth, and wine to the baking dish and whisk until smooth.

Chicken Cordon Bleu Pasta Bake instructions

  1. Boil pasta and Drain. I boiled my noodles in the broth that I cooked my chicken in, along with bay leaf and some other spices and bullion cube that I had added/cooked it in.
  2. Heat cream cheese on stove until melted. Stir in the heavy cream, and butter & stir it until combined. Add onion/garlic powder. Add and Stir about a cup of cheese until smooth..
  3. In a bowl I combined the cooked shredded chicken, ham, and bacon, some seasonings and tossed around..
  4. Spray Pam in baking dish, and layer noodles, and the chicken/bacon/ham mixture from bowl. Pour sauce over top and spread evenly. Sprinkle top with about 1/2 cup cheese and bread crumbs..
  5. Bake at 350°F for about 20 minutes or cheese is melted. Let cool for about 5 min..

When making a cheese sauce, it is important to add the cheese last. Folding in the cheese too earlier can result in a broken sauce. Don't let that scare you, this recipe is so easy and so damn delicious. Namely chicken cordon bleu pasta bake. I like baked pasta because the top gets a little bit browned and I love the extra crispiness and flavor that comes with it all.
