I had several recipes but the first I wanted to try was an Alfredo sauce I came across. We love anything alfredo and recently wanted shrimp. I made this for our family in minutes and it was a huge hit!

Ingredients of Garlic Shrimp Alfredo

  1. Prepare 1 lb of raw shrimp peeled and deveined.
  2. Prepare 2-3 cloves of garlic finely minced.
  3. Prepare 2 tbls of butter.
  4. Prepare 1/2-1 cup of Parmigiana cheese freshly grated.
  5. Prepare 1-1 1/2 cups of heavy cream.
  6. It's to taste of Salt and freshly ground pepper.
  7. Prepare 1/2 lb of pasta (linguini, shells, spaghetti) cooked al dente.

Garlic Shrimp Alfredo instructions

  1. Melt butter in sauté pan large enough to hold everything and sauté shrimp until pink and starting to firm up add garlic and sauté a minute or two more.
  2. Add drained pasta, toss to combine.

  5. Add 1/2 cup parmigiana cheese and about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of heavy cream toss to combine.

  8. If cream sauce becomes to thin add more cheese if too thick add more cream.
  9. Adjust seasoning and serve.

Add the shrimp, salt, and pepper and cook until the shrimp is pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and bacon from the pot, leaving any fat from cooking the bacon behind. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook penne according to package directions until al dente. Add the chicken broth, then the milk and stir or whisk to combine. Add tomatoes and salt and pepper.
