Pasta alfredo is a creamy pasta made with mixed veggies. The creaminess comes from the addition of fresh cream. Fettuccine alfredo was originally invented by alfredo di lelio in his mother's restaurant in italy. Traditional Fettuccine Alfredo, which comes from Italy, is made simply with pasta, butter and Parmesan cheese. As the butter and cheese are mixed into the hot pasta, they emulsify to form a silky sauce on the pasta.
